G'Day!

Welcome to our blog! It's our way both of keeping a record of getting to know our new home, and also of keeping everyone at home in touch with what we are doing.

Love Wendy, Andrew, George and Anna xxx

How to comment!

We like comments! It lets us know that someone is reading this rubbish we are sending out into the ether. Don't be put off by the need to set up a google account - you never need to use it other than to sign in to make a comment (although I have to say that googlemail is rather good!).

And if you already have a google account - why not leave a comment today?

We're off on our hols

Just a quickie today to let you know that we are going away for 4 days today - on a motor cruiser up the Hawkesbury River, so there won't be any posts for a while. We will be reading, sunbathing (weather forecast is excellent) and fishing. V nice.

Nothing much to report about yesterday - did a bit of shopping and then some exploring of suburbs, which confirmed to us that we want to live in the Curl Curl area.

Promise to take lots of photos and possibly some video and will update on Saturday sometime.

Lots of love xxx

Just a quick note to say hello and to say I'll try and drop you a line whenever I can. Sorry we didn't get an opportunity to meet up before you left the Office on the Friday - I had to run to get my plane back to Manchester.

Sounds like you are having a great time and settling in well.

I was "interested" to read about the £7,000 damage to your Mercedes. Surely this wasn't the same one you tried to offload on me before you left!!

Will email again soon.

Keep in touch and let me know how far behind ARUP are in Sydney!!

Hi Steve,

Yes, sorry to have missed you that day but at least we shared a beer or two and a night at the footy. Seems that when I don't go they can score 7!

Mercedes was well fixed - you wouldn't have noticed the difference, honest!

I haven't yet set foot in Arup but I am already beginning to get the impression that Quinceyesque reports might not be to Aussie taste. Will let you know in due course.

All the best for now.

Andrew
